Atelier Adaptive Habitat

This atelier aims to break the mould of conventional living & working spaces. The space should be transformable and optimised to support shared living / co-working fundamental. Every element of the spaces should be purposeful and encourage intuitive behaviors. Such a place would serve as a destination where people would want to be and feel like a community worth belonging. The spaces can thus be both tangible and intangible. The boundary is not simply restricted to the daily usage of private space but communication and socialisation. It can include the transaction of zones between open spaces to semi enclosures.

DESIGN CONCEPT

The design intent of the space is to blur the boundaries between spaces by not formalizing the functions and usages of the space. The same space can be used for different functions and shared according to the users’ needs.
